Providing Feedback at Work: The STEER Methodology
What if you could find better ways to get your staff to act with more proficiency? The results for your business would be significant. Happier customers. More satisfied co-workers. And, you would be relieved of some sources of stress. This presentation on providing feedback in the workplace suggests tools that you can use to give more effective feedback to your colleagues and other personnel. STEER is an acronym that represents five main elements of feedback: specificity, timing, explanation, emotion, and reinforcement.
